Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SahoLabs platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Saho Labs, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

SahoLabs is a data infrastructure platform for embodied AI. We collect, annotate, and deliver multimodal sensorimotor data — including egocentric video, stereo depth, tactile force maps, 3D pose reconstructions, IMU data, action labels, object segmentation, and SLAM outputs — captured from real-world human activities across diverse environments.

Our customers are typically AI research teams, robotics companies, and enterprises that license structured datasets for training embodied AI models.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us promptly at security@saholabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that show signs of fraudulent or abusive activity.

4. Data Licensing and Delivery

4.1 Dataset License

When you purchase or receive a dataset from SahoLabs, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that dataset for the purposes specified in your order or agreement. Unless your agreement states otherwise, this license permits use for internal research and model training only.

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense raw datasets to third parties
  • Use datasets to build a competing data collection or annotation service
  • Remove or alter any attribution, metadata, or provenance information included with the data

4.2 Custom Engagements

For custom data collection campaigns, the scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing are defined in a separate Statement of Work or order form. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed Statement of Work, the Statement of Work controls.

4.3 Delivery Format

Datasets are delivered in the structured formats described in your order. We make reasonable efforts to ensure data quality and completeness, but we do not guarantee that datasets will be free of errors or suitable for every use case.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our IP

The SahoLabs platform, website, brand, documentation, software, data collection methodologies, annotation pipelines, and hardware designs are the property of Saho Labs, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, trade dress, or proprietary technology.

5.2 Your Models

You retain full ownership of any models, research outputs, or derivative works you create using licensed SahoLabs datasets, subject to the dataset license restrictions in Section 4.1.

5.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, we may use that feedback without obligation to you.

6. Payment

6.1 Fees

Pricing for datasets and services is provided on a per-engagement basis. All fees are stated in your order or Statement of Work. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are due upon invoice and are quoted in U.S. dollars.

6.2 Refunds

Fees are generally non-refundable once a data collection or annotation campaign has begun. If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon dataset, we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide a proportional refund.

6.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies associated with your purchase, excluding taxes on our net income.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you are not authorized to access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use datasets in any way that violates applicable data protection laws
  • Misrepresent your affiliation or identity when interacting with us

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATASETS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." SAHO LABS, INC. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Datasets will be free of inaccuracies or omissions
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAHO LABS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DATASETS, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability for all claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saho Labs, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to access the Service ceases immediately
  • Any dataset licenses granted under a separate agreement survive termination as specified in that agreement
  • Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable Statement of Work or order form, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saho Labs, Inc. regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
