Privacy Policy
How SahoLabs collects, uses, and protects personal information from website visitors and customers.
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Who We Are
Saho Labs, Inc. ("SahoLabs," "we," "us," or "our") provides operational intelligence software for Indian MSMEs — capturing how every shift moves, adjusts, and finishes through lightweight wearables and AI vision so each shift can run like the operator's best.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors of our website (https://saholabs.com), prospective and active customers, and any individuals whose personal information we receive in connection with our services. If you are an authorized user of a SahoLabs customer account, your employer's agreement and policies may also apply.
Information We Collect
From Website Visitors
- Name, email, organization, and any details you submit through contact, demo, or referral forms.
- Usage data, page analytics, device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location.
- Cookie data and preferences (see our Cookie Notice).
From Customers
- Business and authorized-user contact information (name, role, email, phone).
- Site, facility, and shift information needed to scope and run on-site engagements.
- Billing information, GST details, and payment records.
- Operational footage, device telemetry, annotations, and analytics generated by SahoLabs wearables and the SahoLabs platform under the Master SaaS Terms of Service ("Customer Data"). The customer is the controller of personal data within Customer Data; SahoLabs acts as a processor, as further described in our Data Processing Addendum.
From Workers Who Appear in Footage
When customer floor workers wear our cameras or appear in captured footage during an engagement, the customer is responsible for providing notice and obtaining any consents required by applicable law. SahoLabs supports this through default privacy controls, including configurable face and identifier blurring before footage is reviewed or stored.
How We Use Your Information

- On-site operations: to schedule, coordinate, and run on-site capture visits with the customer's facility teams.
- Communication: to respond to inquiries, deliver service updates, and send relevant information about our services.
- Improvement: to monitor platform performance, detect issues, and improve our models for shift analysis.
- Legal compliance: to comply with Indian and other applicable laws and to protect our rights and the rights of others.
Legal Basis for Processing
If you are located in India
We rely on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and other applicable Indian laws. We process your personal data on the basis of your consent or, where permitted, for specified legitimate uses.
If you are located in the EU or UK
The EU GDPR and UK GDPR require us to identify a valid legal basis. We may rely on:

- Legitimate interests: for service improvement, security, and business operations.
- Consent: where specifically obtained.
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws.
Data Sharing and Recipients
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: cloud hosting, video processing, analytics, payments, telephony, and customer-support providers acting on our instructions.
- Capture and integration partners: local field engineers, device suppliers, and integration partners engaged to support an on-site engagement.
- Legal authorities: where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.
- Successors-in-interest: in connection with a sale, merger, or financing event, subject to confidentiality.
We do not sell personal data.
International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure is operated primarily in India and the United States. If you access our services from outside these jurisdictions, your data may be transferred to and processed in either of them. Where required, we put in place appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, local storage) to keep the site secure, remember your preferences, support analytics, and improve our services. Details on how we use cookies and how to manage your preferences are in our Cookie Notice.
Our Use of AI
The SahoLabs platform uses artificial intelligence and computer-vision models to analyse shift footage and produce structured operational signals — for example, cycle time, idle and wait detection, sequence breaks, station throughput, and anomaly flags. We do not use Customer Data uploaded to the SahoLabs platform under the MSA to train SahoLabs-owned or third-party large language models or foundation models without the customer's prior written consent.
Social Logins
You can register or sign in using a third-party account (e.g., Google or LinkedIn). When you do, we may receive profile information such as your name, email, and profile picture. We use this information only as described in this Policy. We do not control how third-party platforms use your data — please review their privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal data, we will delete or anonymize it. Customer Data is retained per the terms agreed with the customer in the applicable order documentation and the MSA.
Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and you should access the services within a secure environment.
Children's Data
Our services are not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we may have collected data from a child, please contact us at privacy@saholabs.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you have rights that may include:
- Access to your personal data.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure of your data, subject to applicable retention obligations.
- Restriction or objection to certain processing.
- Portability of your data in a commonly used format.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
- Nomination of another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (where required by the DPDP Act).

If your personal data is part of Customer Data submitted to the SahoLabs platform by a customer, please direct your request to that customer; we will support them in responding under the DPA.
